"The 2021 My Favorite Neighbor Cabernet Sauvignon fills the glass with a seamless culmination of black cherry, cassis and warm spice. On the palate, you are rewarded with a full body displaying blackberry and plum with underlying notes of tobacco. An additional layer of red fruit and a pop of acid, combined with well-integrated tannins and a beautifully crafted structure, leave nothing to be desired." - My Favorite Neighbor

My Favorite Neighbor is a wine producer and brand based in Paso Robles, California, sourcing fruit from a range of grower-vineyards in the area. Established by Eric Jensen of Booker Vineyard in homage to his "favorite neighbor", Stephan Asseo of L’Aventure, the label was initially released in the Booker portfolio. It has since been produced as a separate project, albeit still made by Jensen.
The flagship wine of the range is the varietally labeled Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from fruit in San Luis Obispo County although vineyard-designate wines are made in small volumes and released to mailing club members.
Other wines include the MFN blanc (a Chardonnay also made under the San Luis Obispo County AVA) and Paso Robles rosé from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah and Cabernet Franc. The Harvey & Harriet Bordeaux blend (named in honor of Jensen's parents) completes the range.
